In the Heights extends at the Kings Cross Theatre

The hugely successful UK revival of the Broadway smash-hit musical In the Heights has announced that it is to extend booking at the Kings Cross Theatre through to the 10 April 2016.
Originally planned to close this month, the production will now run for at least another five months, due to phenomenal public demand for the exhilarating show.
In the Heights opened at the Southwark Playhouse in 2014 and returned in October 2015, this time to the new purpose built theatre at Kings Cross Station where it continues to plays in rep with the stage adaptation of The Railway Children.
Directed by Luke Shepard, In the Heights features a brilliant leading cast comprised of Jade Ewen, David Bedella, Sam Mackay, Eve Polycarpou, Victoria Hamilton-Barritt and Joe Aaron Reid.
The production is choreographed by the up-and-coming Drew Mconie, set design by Takis, lighting design by Howard Hudson, sound design by Gareth Owen, costume design by Gabriella Slade and musical supervision by Tom Deering.
In the Heights has music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda and a book by Quiara Alegría Hudes, and takes the audience on an exhilarating journey into one of New York’s most vibrant and exciting communities – Washington Heights.
In the Heights is currently booking at the Kings Cross Theatre through to 10 April 2016.
