If you are keen to experience a modern new musical that's award-winning, multi-generational, uplifting, powerful and contemporary, DEAR EVAN HANSEN is your perfect choice. It's on from November 2019 at the Noel Coward theatre and comes from the clever writers who created La La Land and The Greatest Showman. As you can imagine, the word on the streets is this is going to be a monster hit.

During November 2018 the producers of the show donated items from the Broadway run to the National Museum of American History at the Smithsonian Institution. It has been adapted to create a novel for young adults by Val Emmich, the actor and singer-songwriter, in collaboration with the book's original authors Pasek, Paul and Levenson. It's published by Little, Brown Books for Young Readers. And there's a movie adaptation in the wind, with Universal Pictures given an option to create a version for the big screen. All this provides proof of the story's broad and unusually powerful appeal.

DEAR EVAN HANSEN has won the Drama League Award for Outstanding Musical Production and for the off-Broadway production, two Obie Awards, a Drama Desk Award, two Outer Critics Circle Awards and two Helen Hayes Awards.
The Grammy Award®-winning Original Broadway Cast Recording of DEAR EVAN HANSEN produced by Atlantic Records, was released in February 2017, making an extraordinary debut on the Billboard 200 and entering the chart at #8 – the highest charting debut position for an original cast album since 1961 – and went on to win the 2018 Grammy Award® for Best Musical Theatre Album.
A new deluxe version of the cast recording, including six bonus tracks and a pop cover from Katy Perry of Waving Through a Window is now available digitally.
