Inter Alia description

Take one Emmy, Golden Globe and Academy Award nominee. Add one of London’s best-loved venues. Mix in the considerable talent of Suzie Miller. What do you get? It’s Inter Alia, a brand new play premiering at the National Theatre’s Lyttleton venue, a hot new drama not to be missed.

The production comes from the same team behind Miller’s Prima Facie, writer Suzie Miller and director Justin Martin. And it’s a story affecting so many people. You have a job you value. But how do you juggle a complex professional life with your other lives as a wife and mother, a friend and a feminist? Rosamund Pike (Saltburn) takes the starring role.

About the cast and creative team

Australian playwright, screenwriter and lawyer Suzie Miller has over 40 plays under her belt including Reasonable Doubt, which premiered at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and her 2022 hit Prima Facie, which enjoyed a successful run in Sydney before creating waves in the West End with Jodie Comer in the lead role. It won two Oliviers.

Rosamund Pike has numerous stage hits behind her including Hitchcock Blonde, Summer and Smoke, Gas Light, Madame de Sade and Hedda Gabler. She has won several awards including a Primetime Emmy and a Golden Globe, along with Academy Award and BAFTA nominations.

Director Justin Martin is an award winning director with hits on TV, stage and the big screen. He co-directed the brilliant Stranger Things: The First Shadow with Stephen Daldry at the Phoenix Theatre in London.

The set and costume design is by Miriam Buether, lighting design from Natasha Chivers, and the sound design by Ben and Max Ringham.
