Kathy and Stella Solve a Murder description

Meet the unlikely crime-fighting duo Kathy and Stella. Audiences really do laugh most of the way through this show, a comedy treat to remember.

Here’s where you get the best of all comedy worlds: a gripping plot, excellent musical theatre and very funny actors. Roll them together and it’s un-missable. This show has a big, warm heart filled with plenty of thrills, witty and irreverent with a generous helping of classic British silliness. When you’re in the mood for an evening of side-splitting joy, it’s ideal.

Edinburgh audiences rate this show highly, as did those in Bristol and Manchester. This is a very well-deserved West End run. It’s no surprise the show won Musical Theatre Review’s Best Musical Award at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2022, the second such award won by the writers Jon Brittain and Matthew Floyd Jones.

What’s the plot for Kathy and Stella Solve a Murder?

‘Best Friends Forever’ Kathy and Stella host a not-very-good Hull podcast about true crime. When their favourite crime writer is killed they decide to solve the murder, which quickly turns into a crazy whodunit where their friendship is at risk, their podcast might just go viral, and murderer might strike again.
