Sinatra description

During his long lifetime Frank Sinatra won 11 Grammy Awards and sold 150 million records. His first UK show was held at the Palladium. He returned in 1975 to give 10 concerts, supported by jazz legends Sarah Vaughan and Count Basie. 2015 is Frank Sinatra's centenary year – it's a century since his birth. He's returning to the London Palladium sixty five years after his British debut in 1950. And he's even appearing on the self-same stage. Now that's what we call something you won't want to miss!

Obviously the singer isn't with us any more. So how are they going to bring him back to life on stage? The producers are using incredibly rare film footage of Sinatra performing, some of which has never been seen before, plus a brilliant 24 piece orchestra and some of the most sensational live choreography on the planet. The results is a stunning masterpiece of a multi-media concept designed to bring one of the planet's best-loved crooners back to vibrant, uncanny life.

That deep, rich, effortless voice. That legendary sense of musical timing. The passion, the dedication, the sheer beauty of Sinatra's most famous songs. It's all laid out on stage for you, with all of Frank's greatest hits: Come Fly With Me, Blue Moon, New York, New York, My Way and much more.

Apparently the Sinatra family are fully on board, totally supportive and extremely enthusiastic about the show. It has been produced in association with Frank Sinatra Enterprises to combine cutting-edge technology with family photos, original master recordings and many more treasures.

Was Sinatra the world's greatest ever entertainer? If you think so, this curiously intimate celebration of his life and times will be right up your street, a rare opportunity to experience Sinatra’s formative years as the fascinating story of his life unfolds. All told, somewhat uncannily, by the man himself.

Karl Sydow, the show’s producer, is apparently delighted to present the official stage production for Frank's centenary year. In his eyes the production will play a leading role in what he's sure will be a year full of tributes to Sinatra.

Talking of which... is this the same as the previously-announced tribute Sinatra 100? No. Sinatra 100 was due to play at the Palladium from 2th March 2014, but has since been cancelled. This is the only and best Sinatra tribute show in town.
