Meet Samantha Brown, a girl with a decision to make
Samantha Brown is a high school senior whose beloved best mate Kelly has been killed in a car crash. But she doesn't just lose her closest confidante, she has also lost her confidence, lost sight of the part of herself that was learning to be brave like Kelly. Now Sam has a decision to make: does she stay safe with her family and achieve the dreams her mum has for her, or does she drive off into a future she can't even imagine, like Kelly would have?
Featuring amazing pop tunes by Bree Lowdermilk plus book and lyrics by Kait Kerrigan, this hilariously moving musical explores the complex mother-daughter dynamic, delves deep into the power of high school relationships, and connects audiences with the real meaning of the word 'freedom’.
