Unicorn description
Unicorn premieres in the West End, a funny, provocative and explicit look at what happens when things start to feel stale and you allow an enigmatic stranger into your life. Written by Mike Bartlett, (Cock, Chariots of Fire, Medea, Scandaltown), it stars the respected TV, movie and stage actor Nicola Walker.
The play delves into the complicated web of modern relationships to explore the secrets that simmer underneath. You’ll meet the perfect couple, Polly and Nick, whose strong marriage, two nice kids and fulfilling careers should mean all is well. But they’re a bit samey, a bit bored, and ripe for change. When the mysterious Kate turns up their lives begin to intertwine and boundaries blur. Can Kate add the necessary sparkle?
