The story? It's set in the future. A bleak future, on a planet once called Earth. Globalisation has turned the human race into a sad, repressed bunch of people who all watch the same films, wear the same fashions and look at the world in exactly the same way. It might seem comforting at first... but the closer you look, the scarier it becomes.

We're controlled by The Company, whose computers generate the music we listen to. There's no choice. Musical instruments are banned. But resistance is growing. And the human race needs a hero. Galileo is that man. And it's his task to help us break free.

Legendary band Queen, fronted by the Freddie Mercury until '91, have been making sweet music since the '70s. For We Will Rock You they joined forces with seasoned writer Ben Elton, bringing their unique sound to the stage.
